Norlanders — Small house — Faced with a tight plot and the close proximity of an existing building, our challenge was to secure privacy without sacrificing light. We constructed a small, highly efficient home using IsoTimber, arranging the interior around a continuous, circular flow that expands the perception of the small footprint. Inside, a custom fireplace and chimney crafted from raw concrete blocks anchors the space with a heavy, grounding geometry. Externally, the house is finished in a dark green hue, allowing its robust form to dissolve naturally into the surrounding greenery.
