For the H22 international city exhibition, our spatial design focused entirely on the raw physics of circularity. Partnering with SKEWED Productions and IKEA, we bypassed the consumption of new building materials by harvesting an entire defunct IKEA store in Kållered, 200 kilometers away. We treated the decommissioned retail structure not as waste, but as a rich, local quarry of structural resources—repurposing its heavy components directly into the architecture of the Helsingborg installation. The resulting exhibition space serves as a direct, physical proof-of-concept for industrial reuse, executed with immediate material weight.
