This critically acclaimed exhibition examines how yesterday’s radical domestic visions square with contemporary reality, now adapted for its installation at the IKEA Museum in Älmhult. The spatial layout structures a direct dialogue between twentieth-century speculative prototypes and modern innovations. By physicalizing this comparison, the environment poses a fundamental question: are we living out the architectural fantasies of pioneering designers, or has the core concept of home resisted systemic change? Our design translates this inquiry into a clear, material space where historical visions and modern realities confront one another directly.
