Simmer is four friends with shared perspectives, individual ambitions and diverse skillsets coming together to make buildings, interiors and objects. Our three offices across Sweden keep us close to the raw materials and craftspeople that distinguish our operation. Our clientele take us all over the world. Founded in 2018 by Axel Norlander, Caspar Andrén, Petter Hillinge, and Robert During Janson, our current projects include:

a headquarters for Spotify, redesigned with the purpose of establishing their first public space and incorporating an event area, exhibition space and restaurant – with architecture, furniture, fixtures and fittings designed by us; an all-wood collection for VERK, with a lounge chair, stackable chair, bar stool and armchair, 100% Swedish materials and manufacturing and no compromise between comfort and function;

a strategy and product range of two and three-wheeled cargo bikes for Ecobike, which involved developing methods for making lower-weight, stronger frames, and compatibility at any service point; a modular factory system for Renasys, designed and built to easily ship all over the world and blend into any environment; and a 75-square meter cabin of concrete, timber and glass on the outskirts of Stockholm, built for an older couple around a central fireplace.
